Maratha Battalion (Marathi film Trailor) - Milind Gawali

This Marathi film " Maratha Battalion " was the first Marathi big budget film, and also the first War film in Marathi.



The Star cast of the film was huge, like Laxmikant Berde, Kuldeep Pawar, Ramesh Bhatkar, Alka Kubal, Vijay Chavan, Bharat Jadhav, Deepa Parab, Sandeep Bansali, Ragvendra Kadkol, Deepak Shirke, Ravindra Berde and many more. Director - Nagesh Dharak, Producer- Late Jijiraj Vaswani.
This film was a complete entertainer, a very patriotic, I had met few young boys in Jalgaon who were so inspired after seeing the film that they joined the army.
I played the character of Amar Bhosle.one of my favorite Role till date. enjoy every bit of it, I had put my heart in the character.

What a film..... Great Story.... Great Performances....every thing about this film is nice.... and so was the response from the audience.....I was nominated best actor by these people who don't even consider these kind of film for awards.... such was the impact of the film........these kind of film happens.... it cannot be made.......Pitambar Kale the Director was at his best..... writer - Pratap Gangavne... he is really a good writer...he knows the rural audience like non-other writer..Performances were great...everyone ...Ashok Saraf, Pratiksha Lonkar, Shweta Shinde, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Pradeep Kotmire.... I have seen the reaction of the audience.... Even Men cried loudly.... This was a story of every second house of Maharashtra.... People got associated with the film.... they saw themselve.....The credit also goes to Anna Deshpande and his kids, who were the producer of the film....

Indrajeet Arora a dear friend of Sanjeev Bhatacharya and me too. Sanjeev Seth ( handsome villian ) & Ravi Kolekar Sanjeev Loved to be loved by his Actors , he had a very deep emotional bonding with most of them, everyone of us have great memories of him.
