Guest role in " Karuya Udyachi Baat "






A film on Global Warming in Marathi called " Karuya Udyachi Baat ", produced by Archana Nevrekar, Directed by Kshitij Zarapkar.


I was asked to play a Guest Role by Archana who is a very old friend , and Kshitij too had worked with me in Ratnakar Matkari's 'Gahire Paani' many years ago. I agreed and enjoyed working with the team... I also finished my part of Dubbing for this film and it is suppose to be premiered in the USA in the month of April...

What a film..... Great Story.... Great Performances....every thing about this film is nice.... and so was the response from the audience.....I was nominated best actor by these people who don't even consider these kind of film for awards.... such was the impact of the film........these kind of film happens.... it cannot be made.......Pitambar Kale the Director was at his best..... writer - Pratap Gangavne... he is really a good writer...he knows the rural audience like non-other writer..Performances were great...everyone ...Ashok Saraf, Pratiksha Lonkar, Shweta Shinde, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Pradeep Kotmire.... I have seen the reaction of the audience.... Even Men cried loudly.... This was a story of every second house of Maharashtra.... People got associated with the film.... they saw themselve.....The credit also goes to Anna Deshpande and his kids, who were the producer of the film....

1) Sudhir Pande who played my father. 2)Arif, Pari, Ninad, Resham, Suchita & me 3) Ballu, Sandy, Prashant, Ravi & me Paritosh Painter , me & Resham This entire group was close to Sanjeev, which had Shefali Chaya, Bharat Nerkar ( One of the best Cinematographer of India television ), Vijay ( best recordist famous for no dubbing when cordless were not in use). Indrajeet Arora a dear friend of Sanjeev Bhatacharya and me too. Sanjeev Seth ( handsome villian ) & Ravi Kolekar Sanjeev Loved to be loved by his Actors , he had a very deep emotional bonding with most of them, everyone of us have great memories of him. I owe Campus to one friend and that is Kannan Iyer, before Campus I had done a Hindi film called Vartaman, where I met Kannan, and he was the decent of the lot, he had come from Delhi after the successful serial Fauji with Shahrukh Khan, and he called me one day and said let us go on the set of a new serial called Campus at St Xaviers school.
