This is the beginning of my Acting Journey, just after " Hum Bachche Hindustan ke " Kishore Namit Kapoor the Acting Guru, took me to Govind Saraiya ( Great Director who Director the all time hit Hindi film " Saraswati Chandra " starring Nutan ) who was planning a film on teenage love, The moment Govindji saw me he thought he had got his main lead boy, which he communicated to me later, then the search for the female lead began, I saw Govindji very fussy while casting the girl, as Pallavi Joshi & Nivedita Joshi ( who are famous actors & also producers now )and many others had come but he didn't cast them , again when he met Suparna Savarkar ( famous theatre personality Jayant Savarkar's Daugther ) he found his female lead.
We started shooting after a months training in Acting for both of us by Kishore Namit. The other star cast in the film was the great Marathi hero Arun Sarnaik who play the heroine's father, Kishor Namit played my father, Suhasini Deshpande, Rajeshri Sawant etc. Playback for me by Nitin Mukesh.
And I was a hero in 1984-85, when I was in the 11th & 12th standard, had just passed out from school, Like the tiger gets the first taste of blood, I got the taste of the world of glamour, films, theatre was so fascinating and still is the same after sooo many years.
