This is a nice Ganapati song, shot in Poona last year..........It was just a days shoot, Early morning I drove down to poona which is 170 kms from Mumbai and reached on the location on time. to my surprise nobody was on the set, called the concerned person, whoe said they are on the way, I was doing such a video for the second time, and that too because it was Ganapati Song, or else I have been avoiding these Video shoots, I knew it would be very professional, and again me being a nondancer, the task was more difficult, as these shoots have no rehearsals, and above all I hadn't listened to the song even.

Took Ganapati's name and prepared my mind set, and as I had already committed I had to do it, for two - three hours nothing was happening, then it was lunch time , everyone had lunch, and by 3.45pm the first shot was taken, and it started raining, I thought they would not shoot till it stopped raining, but again to my surprise they continued to shoot, finished the shoot by 5.00pm , everyone was happy that they had finished one song and would continue shooting 4 other songs they same evening and night, I thanked Ganapati that I had committed for just one song.

I drove down home feeling empty, I felt like an odd man out, carrying with me the experience of such kind of shoot, it was the same feeling when I had first shot similar kind of song, and had taken a decision never to do such projects and still had done it, and again the same feeling of never to indulge in such projects.

but knowing myself so well that in the near future I would not be able to stop myself from do so...

I have seen the reaction of the audience.... Even Men cried loudly....

I immediately said yes to Mr. Mahesh Tilekar when he asked me to do a performance in his show " Tare Taraka ", firstly it was Naik saheb's film song on which I was suppose to perform, and secondly Mr. Mahesh Tilekar showed confidence in me.

Sameera was excellent in the performance, I still feel that she deserved a better dancing partner . Anyways she had no choice . Better luck next time. But I really enjoyed performing with her, she is very talented, intelligent and a good soul.. All the very best to her for a brighter career. Thanks to Choreographer Kartik ( Grandson of Subal Sarkar ) he gave me lot of confidence to perform without him this would not have been possible.

The unique thing about this programme was , it had 21 males Marathi film stars and 21 females Marathi film stars, old and new, performing for the first and the last time together on one stage. this programme was held in Poona. The tickets of this houseful show were blacked outside the auditorium.

Ramesh Bhatkar loved my performance and he communicated it to me, that was a nice gesture.

First time a war film was made in Marathi , it was a dream project of Late Mr. Vaswani, Multi Starrer, never seen before so many big names in one film, the casting includes Late Laxmikant Berde, Alka Kubal Atle, Bharat Jadhav, Ramesh Bhatkar,Kuldeep Pawar, Deepa Parab, Deepak Shirke, Ravindra Berde, Vijay Chavan .......

The producer had a very tough time making this big budget film, earlier this film was Directed by Mahesh Kothare and half way through the shooting shopped and then the film was Directed by Nagesh Dharak, That this point I was offered the main role, and the shotting started all over again, Laxmikant Berde was not well that time and we had to shoot on the mountains of Nashik and kolhapur , still he managed, Bharat was not a popular star then so the producer and director didn't give him much importance in the film, cut his role in the middle of the film ( Later when he becaome a star the same producer paid him the maximum price and signed him for a film, that's destiny ) Deepak Shirke who played the Villian in the had to be admitted in the ICU but still against the doctor advice he came to shoot the climax.

For me this is one of my favourite Roles, author backed, main role with big names in Marathi industry playing supportive roles.

I met to boys in Jalgaon District who had jion the Indian Army after watching this film and My role " Amar Bhosle had inspired to do so. What else an Actor wants ?

This year my distribution of Marathi film has taken shape, it was a new field and a difficult business field and there are lot of old horse who don't allow the new ones to enter, still the Camel has entered in the tent and its there to stay and make it big.

This film is Mahima Khandobacha, I have lot of emotional attachment to this film and so i thought of distributing this film and this film have been appreciated by the common audience and has done very well in the interiors of Maharashtra , now it is running at pali yatra where we shot the film, then its will be screened in Aund near Satara.

In Aurangabad I had taken the films lead actress Deepali Sayeed and she had not seen such Yatra and we thought it would be good publicity.

Yatra's are unique way of film promotion , most of the rural Maharashtra have yatras where millions of people come on pilgrimage and then they also watch films, earlier this used to be a huge business but now it has reduced drastically

This film started many years ago by a very excellent producer called Mr Anand Kadam from Thana... his ambitious project casting big star like Ashok saraf, Mohan Joshi, Sudhir Joshi and unfortunately Sudhir kaka passed away after an heart attack... so many years this film was in the cans and didn't see the light of the day... and after many years Mr. Tanmay Sengupta took over the project and started asking dates from all the big stars replacing Anand Abhangkar for the remaining part of Late Sudhir Joshi... Recently shot for the film and before we could finish the film Mr Tanmay Sengupta had problem so the film is again halted....

Pappa had come on the set for few minutes while he was on his way to MithAsmi's second project " Manasvini " as the shooting was on the same day at madh Island.

I miss Sudhir Joshi very much as I had a great time on the set with him.

This was a very interesting article written by my Journalist friend Neelesh. A huge half page article which I had to scan in parts, a well written article and for me it was keeping alive a dream which I always have, about a Dream home, which I think everyone has in their minds, And people like me who have lived in the metropolitan city throughout my life , look forward to live in the peaceful locales of the countryside, I always envied the British, even in India which was a foreign land and also different culture still they lived in style, they never came down where living standards are concerned, I had the opportunity to stay in a British Quarter for five years as my dad was in police, the house was huge, so huge that we had wedding functions, underarm cricket match, the only house in that area which was so big.. and when we shifted to another place that single place was divided and allotted to two officers, now people in mumbai are use to living in pigeon holes.

And so with no time I will be shifting in my dream house. Thanks Neelesh for keeping my dream alive.....

This film has given me an opportunity to work with hindi star Gracy Singh, she is a excellent dancer and very professional. She was also Sanjeev Bhattacharya's find in " Zee serial in " Amanat" then came " Lagaan" and then " MunnaBhai MBBS" all trendsetting work and now comes " Chanchal" which is again a clean nice and a different kind of a film which the family audience will love it....The film releases next month i.e. in November 2008...

This film is one of a kind, very different from the normal films, there are unique things about this film, best part of the film is its casting, this casting is something different from normal Marathi films, all the actors suit the character perfectly, and the characters written are very beautifully and loving. Yesterday spoke to Mr Dilip Prabhavalkar, congratulating him for receiving the National award for his role of Mahatma Gandhi in Lage raho munnabhai.

one of my friend wanted to cast him in his next film and asked him to talk to him, Dilip prabhavalkar said he would love to do it but for 6 months he is committed.

I had done a short story called " Chitthe " " चिठठी " written and Directed by Ratnakar Matkari. And my experience working with Dilipji was great, the first day of the shoot at jeevan silk mills , I was ready with my makeup and we all were waiting for Dilipji to come and around 10.30am we get a call from him saying he had a minor accident while coming to the shoot, and he was close back, few unit member went to fetch him, he came and narrated the incidence, he was in a taxi , and sitting behind, at a fast speed the taxi driver missed a speed breaker and dilipji hit the roof of the taxi and there was a tube light there which hit him badly and he started bleeding, and instead of taking him to the hospital, the driver asked him the get down, he took down the number. Complaint to the police.

When we started shooting he was completely involved in the role. he came out with excellent suggestions which the director had no choice but to except as they were good, I was comparatively new comer that time, still he treated me very well and our scenes was memorable. we played father and son, the story ended on an emotional note.. great experience..

Film Kalbhairav's successful forth week in mumbai

It always a great feeling when you film is working and people are liking it, morning when I sat down to read the news paper and read this article about Kalbhairav entering the forth week, I felt nice, as Mumbai is such a place which good films also run for two to three weeks , and if the film is entering the forth week then people are liking it and it is doing well. Mumbai is not the market for these kind of films, film like Kalbhairav do good business in the interiors of Maharashtra in the rural area, city audience prefer other kind of cinema.

So two of my spiritual films are doing well in Maharashtra, as " Mahima Khandobacha" is also doing well in Pune ( three theatres Prabhat, Gunjan and Jayshree ) , even in Kolhapur and Ichalkarangi and other cities which I am not aware of. and now " Sasar Maze Mandir " releasing in 9 threatres on the 12th of sept. and premiere in Yawatmal. and " Arra Arra abba " releasing of the 19th Sept in Mumbai. So this festival season is really festive regarding my film releasing is concern. I wish success to all of them.

Super Hit film " Mahima Khandobacha "

Yes my film " Mahima Khandobacha " is a hit, released on the 15th August '08 at Prabhat talkies Poona, and the response from the audience was overwhelming, and I could see a my film becoming a hit, this film from the very beginning that is from the script level as very good, when Pratap Gangavne the film writer narrated the story I loved it instantly, and I knew the Director Manohar Sarvankar was good as I had done a telefilm many years ago and that too was good, and was looking forward to work we him.
Sameer Atle did the camera and he is as usual good, I have done lot of work with him including " Maratha Battalion " , "Devki " etc. Milind Save did the graphics and that too are the highlights of the film.

Working with Deepali is a pleasure, one of the best co-star anyone could ask for, very co-operative and so the scenes have come out to be the best.

the combination of this film was really nice, and the credit goes the the Director Manohar Sarvankar. He is really good at his job, he made the shooting atmosphere very healthy,
and so could extract excellent work for everyone , including the small girl who play our daughter
Comedy in the film by Vijay Chavan will make you roll and make your stomach ache laughing, Vijaymama at its best.

" Mahima Khandobacha " my favourite film of recent times, its value or money film, well made , interesting which gets you involved and makes you laugh . A procession was arranged from a Khandobha temple after the puja of the print to the theatre, I was part of it including my favourite yesteryear star Madhu Khambikar was also there in the prosession. we celebrated her birthday on the set and it was a surprise for her. one of the many memorable moments in this film

Sameer did is best in this film , he travelled with us to shoot 12 khandoba's barefoot, he, manohar sarvankar and pavaskar travelled 4000 kms barefoot.

Salsa by Kartik and Sudha Chandran ( Inspiring Lady of India )

Yesterday Kartik had invited me for his show, and I was looking forward for it, not only for Kartik was is a nice well mannered kid and grandson of Subalda ( legend choreographer of Marathi cinema ) who also dances well, and has choreagraphed my TareTaraka dance which I performed in poona with Samira Gujar and got appreciated.
The other important reason I want to be present for the show was The Great Sudha Chandran.
Inspiring lady of India. she was also performing , I had to be there, I had seen her perform in Nashik Taraka show and the experience was

beyond words, She is one person I admire from bottom of my heart, and why not she deserves to be praised, loved and also saluted. Yesterday Kartik said that he had a chapter about her in the first standard school book, yes Sudha Chandran should be taught to all the kids.
Sudha Chandran is in true sense and great human being, she had overcome the difficulties of life so gracefully that no one would believe certain things are possible in life, she truly inspires me.
Very few must be knowing that Sudha has a Jaipur foot, and inspite of having only one foot and other artificial one, she dance like mad, very few having two proper feet can match her or even come close to her when she is on stage performing. Hats of to her, you have to see her to believe it.
twice I got an opportunity to talk to her, first time in a beauty centre at Santacruz and yesterday on stage, after her performance I was called on stage and I got an opportunity to openly declare my admiration for her and how she inspires not only me but lakhs of people, while on stage I also got an opportunity to tell her that I have a dream of Acting with her in a film. And with a Smile she agreed to do so......
Now I don't know the future, but I know that there are dreams which come true and this would be one of my dreams which will surely come true..........

Kalbharav Released ( A FILM ON SNAKES )

Every film in which I work has it own memories and it stay with me for years but this particular scene in which the child comes close to a cobra is something I will never forget, I was never scared of snakes and I have done many films in which snake was a part, but this time I couldn't stand the site, while shooting the child thought the snake was a toy, both his parents were on the set, and I asked them how do you allow your child to do such a scene, and to my surprise they said they were snake lovers and catch snakes in their village, it was not dangerous at all, but for me the site was unbelievable.

Yesterday this film released at Bharatmata in mumbai in only one show, without much publicity, I with my parents and wife had gone for the premiere of this film, had invited few friends, Santosh Pathare, Subal Sakar, Savne made it a point to come.

This particular bhajan in the film sang by Abhijit Kosambi is very good, this film has its plus points as well as it drawbacks, the snake sequences and very thrilling and exciting especially with the child, one has to see it to believe it..

Its true that the more you work with snakes, you fall in love with the animal, there are many mis concepts about this animal, and this film is all about that, the moral of this film is " MAN IS MORE POISONOUS THAN ANY SNAKE "

Life Is A Daring Adventure

My profession has given me an opportunity, to live different life's in one life.

life is a daring adventure or nothing at all.

There are millions and millions of people who go to work everyday and they have their ups and downs, most of them have a routine job, day in and day out, same place , same people, and same work pattern. I am sure most of them get bored, Here in India , so many professionals like doctors, engineers, lawyers join the film industry after they had a successful career, after many years of work they feel , they have not lived life they really wanted to live, the profession of Acting gives them the opportunity to live life adventurously, they can do something which they were not allow in their profession, certain societies does not allow certain things.

My experience will make things clear, I was shooting for a film called " Suryodaya " that was in Poona, and we were shooting a sequence where I get drunk and sleep on the footpath in a slum area, that sequence took three days and for three day I had to act like a drunkard and lay on the footpath, many use to feel I was a real drunkard and use to bet on it, and the fact is I am a teetotaller, and immediately I had to go to Baroda to shoot with Swapna's serial, there we were shooting in Baroda Palace, actual palace of the Maharaja where he still lives, there at night I use to sit on the thrown and thing about life, a moment ago I was on the footpath in the slums and now on the actual thrown, who would get this kind of experience, which other profession would give this kind of experience, on other profession except ACTING,

The experience of humiliation and height of praise, which I got while shooting, would like to share, I was shooting for this film called " Vithal Vithal " I played the role of a murderer who turns into a saint and then repents and commits suicied I was play the character of a murderer who runs and take shelter in the crowd going towards Pandharpur, I am in a bad shape, my cloths are torn, I look like a beggar, till I was with the shooting unit I was treated like a star, so every time I was invited for lunch by the warkari people, the traveller, one day I was little hungry so walked towards the transit kitchen and asked for nice hot bhakari , and the women didn't recognise me being the same actor, scolded me and thought I was a beggar, then someone saw me and recognise and then told her that he is dressed like that as he is acting, but for a moment I felt humiliate, the experience was for the character but because I was play it I went through it, I feeling which is unforgettable.

And the same film gave me a complete contrast experience, when the character turns into a saint, I am completely transformed, and we were shooting in Pundharpur, I was wait under a tree for my shot to come, the unit were shooting near by, two women came and touched my feet thinking I was a saint, I was shocked i told them that I was on a saint I was acting in a film and still they didn't believe me, one woman kept on telling me that she has nothing left in life, and is completely satisfied with her life, all her children are well settled and now she just want to do seva of the lord, what a pure soul that was, I will not be able to put this experience in words.

My Life is a daring adventure and nothing else...

Subal Sarkar " The Dancing Legend "

I met Subalda ( Subal Sarkar ) two days in a row, Rajan wanted a choreographer for the songs of " Most Wanted " and the first name came to my mind was Subalda, I was looking forward to work with him again after ages, and that day has come, I have met very few lovable people like Subalda in this ruthless film industry, and the work that he has done in the film industry , no body would be able to come close to him, I was fortunate to work with him in my first Marathi film " Nilambari " and that too a semi classical song, he gave me rehearsals and we shot the song in Nashik at Pandav lene ( Caves ) and one song in Mumbai's Gateway of India and worli sea face.. what an experience ?

and after that we kept on work together, he knew I was a non dancer and still he casted me in many of the songs, I even did a Sindhi song for films division, also for Doordarshan Diwali song, one koli song I did for him was in front for almost one lakh people at Shivaji park in the year 2000, I remember a song sung by Suresh Wadkar was picturised on me and we had shot that song in the hills of Paratwada near Amarawati, beautiful locale and extraordinarily choreographed by Subalda.

I have fond memories of working with him, and also experienced his love and affection for me and my family, he is great as a dance director and equally great as a human being.

We will be shooting for Rajan's " Most wanted " on the 1st of August, and I am eagerly looking forward to be with him and dance on his tune....

Jaya Bachchan behind the success of Bachchans

I keep on reading about Bachchan family " Unforgettable world tour " and every day some or the other news keep coming , sometimes about the lost baggage or some times about record ticket sale, recently Anil Ambani offered Rs. 100 crores to ABCL to make films. Amitabh started writing blog, has become media friendly, Abhishek and Ashwaria both of them all the time in news.

I feel behind this huge success is only one person that is this Iron lady called Jaya Amitabh Bachchan, I always felt she must be very strong, even when Amitabh was struggling in the film industry in the initial stage, she was a big star, and even after his huge success she took a back seat and supported him to grow bigger and bigger , reach the height where no man has ever reached, and still she has managed keep him there, when the film Silsila came I was wondering how could Jaya Bachchan work with Rekha, you really need to be a very strong headed person to play this role, when the media and the public had talked about their affair so much, and both make it obvious when they don't interact in public functions, Jaya Bachchan managed to keep her husband loyal , when you know it was difficult for Amitabh who was on the peak most of the time to be loyal to her.

Standing behind him at the time of crises , which he was many a times, polities, ABCL, his illness, career downfall. She always took a back seat. Whenever I see her sitting next to Amitabh or Abhishek smiling in these award functions i don't why but I feel happy.

I was fortunate to meet her once when I did her serial called " Saat Phere " which she made for TV Asia in the US under her banner Saraswati Vision , she came on the set for the muhurat clap , then interacted with the cast and crew, she had given this serial to one of her old FTII friend Madan Bawaria, who was not good at handling kids and had problem with a child, then he replace that child with Sai Devdhar, as Debu Devdhar was the cameraman of the serial. This serial had Parikshit Sahani who played chess with me on the set, also Prajakta Kulkarni who had become known with the film Damini.

We couldn't see the serial as it was telecast in the US on TV Asia. and then Saraswati Vision was also not activity as it was also affected with ABCL disaster, I remember one day I got a called on behalf on the Bachchans for the celebration of holi at Pratiksha Bangalow. And I was in disbelief, and I still don't believe that, obviously I didn't go. That's it with the Great Jaya Bachchan, I am sure till she the support to the Bachchans, both Amitabh & Abhishek and also Ashwaria, they will always be unstoppable, and reach to such a pick where no family has reached.

Paper publicity has started , Sakal news paper has lot of readers, I got calls from lot of friends, mumma called from nashik as she got a call from someone, my parents feel happy to read about me in the news paper and I feel one should work harder to make parents proud and happy, that is priceless.
I had gone for morning walk so while coming home picked up this news paper.
I feel print media and films is interrelated, both depend on each other, and if they coordinated and cooperated with each other bot will be benefited, as both have a common enemy and that is the television, and because of 24/7 news channels the news paper is affected, and because of movies show 24/7 the theatre business is affected, but the positive side is both theatre and news paper has its own charm and dedicated audience, and it is going to stay.
So back to the film " Most wanted " , it is making news, and print media is also helping it create an awareness, Rajan is working really hard to make it a success, and the confidence he show by announcing its sequel before the release of the first film is admirable. my best wishes to him and his hard working team..

Kishor Kapoor , a dear friend, my co-actor, my philosophical guide, and also my acting Guru, he played many roles in my live, we first met on the set of a Hindi film " Hum bachche Hindustan Ke ", he always said he saw a spark in me, he considered me as a raw material which can be moulded, he took me to Govind Saraiya personally at Nepansea Road residence, and when I was casted for the teenage Hindi film " Waqt se pehele " he personally trained me for the role, we use to meet at birla krida kendra, marine lines. at 2.00pm we started meeting and the training went on till he was satisfied, improvisations, visualisation, relaxation, then making me comfortable with the co-actor Suparna.

And unknowingly we became fond of each other, we became friend, he use to Act then, he was playing my father in the film, and in one scene he had to hit me because the principal has complained against me, he hit me really hard, it was very realistic, I was young and took it sportingly.

We both do lot of workshops, hunger project, action workshop with Kursheed Merchant, Vitality Workshop, then we do Reiki together with our common friend Lokendra Sharma. Kishore Kapoor once took me to All India Radio, Mumbai station, and I was so fascinated that time that I never imagined I would work there for two & half years, he had introduced me to Lokendra Sharma his dear friend, who became my dear friend when I joined Radio as Transmission Executive ( Trex ),

After I quit Radio Kishor Kapoor was the first person I went, and by that time he had started his Acting School, in his flat. I was enrolled immediately and was given scholarship, the batch was Stardust Academy, seven people were selected by iminant personalities of the industries, amoung them was Sonali Bendre, Divya Dutta, Amar Upadhay, Indrayani Bannerjee and I was put into that group, then after the coarse I continued there for some time, I got a film called " Vartaman" as a second lead directed By Pradeep Maini, Kishor Kapoor use to keep on recommending me to many producers and directors, I was too young, and didn't know the film industry much, we both had our portfolio together shot on his terrace.

Eventually we became very good family friends, I had to his Delhi house many a times, my functions or his get together we were an integral part of each others family.

Slowly he became India's best Acting teacher and got very busy, I too was busy with serials and films, and time went by, he got married and had a blissful marriage had two kids, and was into his world, then our meetings were less, mostly spoke on phone, his mother I call her " Chiagi " bestowed love and affection and gives lot of blessings, she is a scent....

Today when I spoke to him regarding one family friends admission, I became very nostalgic, went into the flashback, remember the moments we spent together, his contribution in my career, also in my over all development.

He still has lot of hopes on me, he always said and believed that I will make it big, when Hritick Roshan became a star and mentioned Kishor Kapoor name on stage I envied him, I wanted to do it and never had a opportunity to so, I think the life time achievement award which I am going to get will surely give me that opportunity to mention his name to the world that " This Man Kishor Namit Kapoor has turned an ordinary stone into a diamond "

No Smoking Just Breathing

Many of my friends are Smokers, and I am concerned about them, every time they smoke I feel uncomfortable, and because I become passive smoker but because I can visualise the damage being done to their lungs, the nicotine which goes in the blood, earlier I used to take a cigarette from the person who offered me and crush it in front of him, he used to get very upset and would say " why do you take it when you don't smoke? you have wasted money. " this used to be only one time trick as the next time that person never offered me his cigarette.
This time Jay Pandia one of our lead actor in this film called " Most Wanted " not knowingly offered me his cigarette but I didn't crushed it but broke it, and asked my driver Geetish to apply it on the wind screen of my car, Jay was surprised, didn't feel that his cigarette was wasted because he too didn't know like many others that " Rubbing Tobacco on the wind screen of you car in rainy days helps water flow and doesn't allow the water to stay on it, which helps the driver to have a clear view while driving in rains.

I have been thinking a lot about these intelligent people who smoke, and if they are intelligent why do they ignore the health risk, and I myself found the answers to these question, it becomes extremely difficult to quit smoking as the nicotine goes into your blood stream, and like you get hungry same way smokers feel the need to smoke after certain period. and if they try to quit then the symptoms are hard to handle.
Again the question arises why do people feel like smoking in the first place, most of them start at very early age, like once Sunil Dattsab mentioned that carrying 555 packet was a style, yes most of them smoke as fashion & style and then get addicted to it, and when they realise it has already become too late.

I too get the urge to smoke when I have to do an intense scene, or when I need to concentrate and there is a chaos on the set and when it becomes difficult to think, I have found out this unique way of concentration without affecting my health, this has become like meditation, you hold an imaginary cigarette in your hand, hold it it as if it is real, take deep breath, inhale and hold it, then exhale slowly, you need deeper concentration and your mind is not ready to listen to you then take 10 imaginary cigarettes or a cigar and inhale all of it in one go, here we have a advantage which even smokers also don't have, that is no fear of anything , no money waste, on health waste. I would like to thank Photographer Sandy who has clicked these photographs, and made me think and share for the smoker friends , I too sympathise with them and am trying to help them quit and lead a health life, make family happy especially the spouse who has to live with the smell. and make their children proud. Successful Second Schedule

" Most Wanted " second schedule is successfully over, shot at surve farm panvel, from this still itself you can imagine how the schedule was for me, little bit of up and downs but in the end its was fun all the way, almost 60% to 70% of the film has been covered. this me and Rajan got some time to play chess also, and he remember Rishida for the he love for chess, he mentioned that Rishikesh Mukharji cast same actors only because they knew how to play chess and would give him company while on set.

This was Vijumama's last scene of this schedule and it was a emotional one, he played it very well.

The man to watch in this film is in the background and that is " Ramya " played by Rajan, Rajan is an extra ordinary actor, somebody on the set compared him to Kishore Kumar, and I do feel the same, he is versatile, a writer, director, lyricist, actor, singer and the list goes on.

Ravi Patvardhan plays a strict father to Vijay Chavan who has not seen his son's face for 28 years and we go to him to convince him, he suited the role very well.

Dinesh Hingu had on one scene and he played it very well, he has a comedy face and good timing

From this still you can imagine that the film " Most Wanted " is Rajan's baby, he has worked very hard on the subject, he knows each and every character by heart, even their dialogues and their accents, I am sure this will surely be a successful venture.

This is what Viju mama does when he is on set, he is a delite for everyone around, very mischievous, we have no choice but to laugh all the time, and his phobia for Dogs is world famous, he is dead scared and so he hates them very much, and even that is fun to watch when some dog come around and here on the set actor Deepak Sherke used to bring his Dog on the set. fun all the way.

SMS reads " Garry Bindar is no more "

yesterday morning I getup and read this sms by my friend Sai Ballal " Garry Bindar is no more " , he had send this message at 00.00 hrs, and entire 52 episodes of "Kahani Teri Meri" ran through my mind, all behind the scenes with Garry had become fresh, and there was complete silence in my brain, Garry died of blood cancer at the age of 34 , unbelievable, he shouting, his laughing, his bad words are all echoing in my hears, he was a child, and intelligent child, wanting to make it big, wanted to go beyond Ekta Kapoors expectations, amazing energy level he had, I can go on and on with the little little experiences we had together, the satisfaction after a good scene and the anger when the same scene was ruthlessly cut by some Nivadita, making manav perform beyond his physical limits.

This scene Garry enjoyed the most, when Urvashi had to remove my shoes while talking to me, and she was not comfortable doing it, and Garry was having a galla time forcing her to do it, I still remember his smile, he loved troubling her as she was an odd man out, and everything happen in a sporting manner, he wanted her to remove both of my shoes and in the process I could sense her uncomfort I suggested that as she goes to remove my shoes , I will do it myself , but her insisted that it has to be her , but ultimately I stopped her doing that in the scene, he had fun , he laughed like a child. That laughter still echos.

I met him first at Ekta's bangalow, and thought the was an actor, he was very tall and handsome, I always said to him " तू साला हीरो लगता है " and he use to laugh it out.

he had put in lot of effort in the serial and then when it was on air there was pressure on him regarding TRP , and too much interference from non creative people was were the decision makers, I remember one scene were I tell my mother played by Shama Deshpande " माँ क्या में तेरा सौतेला बेटा हूँ , क्यूंकि तुम दृव्बो से जादा प्यार करती हो , लेकिन माँ तुम खाना नही खाती हो तो मुझे भी तकलीफ होती है " and I have tears in my eyes, lovely scene , and best of all Garry loved it, he hugged me after the scene and said to me " तू साला बाप ऐक्टर है "। was happy and when the scene was telecast it was ruthlessly cut by the Creative head, lost it charm, and that upset Garry, and he said how do they expect good TRP when such beautiful scenes are chopped like this, he was a real director a leader, he had his style, and he knew he was good, and he lived up to his expectations.

I lost touch with Balaji and television and Garry, and the serial had become very uncomfortable, for everyone, too much pressure from the Sony channel, and it was highest paid serial at that time, and was expecting too much from it, I was upset as my role was not given importance, and I lost interest and I doing V.K.Naiksaheb's film that time, Garry use to say good you are doing films, him dreamed of doing one, He had taken a CD of My film "Devki" and wanted to remake it in Hindi. After the serial was off air, we lost touch for almost 4 years, till that sms " Garry is no more ".

I was asking God to give strength to the family of Pradeep khare and Garry Bindar, who have left this planet much much before time, but now I ask God to give Strength to me also. as it is hard to bare all this.

today Shankar Mahadevan sang a melodious & mesmerizing song

Today is a great day, Shankar Mahadevan sang two song for us, that is for the film " Most Wanted ", and he sang them so beautifully that you have to hear it to believe it. It was really a pleasure to hear him sing for us, its been so many years since he sang for my project, first time it was for
" Khushboo " serial title song directed by Swapna, and today for this marathi film Written & Directed by Rajan Prabhu, Rajan even wrote its lyrics, which Shankar really liked,both Rajan and Swapna are my dear friends for long time.and both are extra talented, I am happy that genius like Shankar Mahadevan is associated with good and talented people like Rajan and Swapna.
I remember the time me and Swapna were shooting in Kolhapur in the shalini Palace and middle of the shoot some started a song called the " Breathless " sang by Shankar and we stopped the shoot and started dancing, never ever thought that the same Talented singer would sing for us one day.
I am sure this is a the beginning beautiful melodious journey, and many more mesmerizing songs will come on the way..

LIFE IS SO UNPREDICTABLE

He Is Pradeep Khare, a dear friend since many many years, this is a photograph was taken at the time of shooting a song sequence from the film " Suryodaya " in poona, Pradeep Khare standing in the middle waving his hand with his mischievous smile ( Which he always had ) next to Pradeep is his wife, with me is his daughter, his son and extreme left is the heroine of the film.

This was my relationship with him on screen , he played the villain in the film, and played it so well, like a professional actor. and off screen he was totally opposite, a very jolly kind of a person, happy go lucky, being the regional manager of Sansui product, and was always awarded for the maximum sales in his region. Pradeep Khare was a person whom anybody would want to be friends with, always smiling, an achiever, whatever he did he wanted to be the best.

Today some body called me in the afternoon and informed me that my friend Pradeep Khare from Poona is no more, 2 weeks back he had a massive heart attack and he passed away.

For me everything came to a standstill, I am still in disbelief, cannot imagine he being not around any more, After the shoot of " Suryodaya " he was the only person from the unit I was in touch with, he had informed me of the dead of Mr. Om who was doing the Production and we both felt very sad about it, and now Pradeep Khare has left this planet, it a horrible things, I can't imagine how his kids would take this shock, and how would his wife except this terrible thing, he was just 42 years old, heart attack at this age, what is happening ? I am completely in the state of shock. My God give strength to his wife & kids, and also to family and friends.

Life is unpredictable....

to Santosh or else why would he write such a big and good article exclusively on you " the whole afternoon I kept on thinking on that, why don't people take things as they are, why don't people have pure thoughts, why do they think that ways, why don't they like others being appreciated, why do they call to congratulate you and communicate their displeasure indirectly. I have always enjoyed all this, as I always take things with in pinch of salt. And the best part is whenever I get praises I feel nice but it don't go in my head and whenever I get criticized it doesn't affect me , I sit back and think about it for some time and move on to work harder to prove them wrong,

As I sit back and think on what that particular well wisher said " you most have give something to Santosh or else why would he write such nice things about you " and I realised, yes I must have given him something or else why would he write this nice article, and that something is nothing material but the kind of respect which he always deserved, yes I respected Santosh from the day I met him at the film festival, I admired him whenever he conducted a forum or a seminar at the festival with renounced International Actors and Directors, I always respected his love and passion for cinema, and he hard work for Prabhat chitra mandal. What did I give him? may be just those Smiles, after coming out of the theatre watching those astonishing films at the international film festival, as we both will not be able to express in words, the kind of satisfaction we both got watching good films, the world of Cinema is not just an entertainment medium for us, the films we watch teaches us to live,and live a worthy life, very few would understand the chemistry between like minded people, and Santosh being a professor himself in Chemistry would understand people better than most of them, And people like Santosh cannot be influenced with materialists things, he is rich enough with the treasure of knowledge which very few will ever have. Mr Save ( सावे ) Milind

29Th June'08 9.30 pm . I Just had a very long chat over the phone with Milind, dear friend, a computer graphic designer, versatile, talented, very soon will be directing a feature film, was associated with lot of films, I met him on the set of " Mahima Kandobacha " , there were lot of complicated computer graphic shots, very pains taking, needed patience,and he had everything, I didn't know what magic he does till I saw the film, he is amazing. I believe that the day he makes a science fiction or an animation it would be at par with Hollywood.

Normally Marathi films have a very limited budget and with all the restrictions he managed to come out with excellent effects, and if he gets the facilities which the westerners have then he is unstoppable.

Ekta Kapoor, Balaji Telefilms and me

Ekta and I met for the first time many many years ago, for same programme of the channel called ATN, that time Balaji telefilms was also not in the picture, Gautam Chaturvadi and me was doing some comparing programme called Top5, it was a brief meeting, then when Ekta started Balaji Telefilms, I was offerred a beautiful role by Swapna the Directed in suspence thriller serial " Mano Ya Na Mano " produced by Ekta for Balaji, I was surprised to know that the serial was to be shot in Ahmadabad, normal that time producers would shoot in mumbai to save money, but Ekta always thought big, she would do things which no other producer has done, And this began my association with Balaji telefilms, one after another I started working for Balaji, and I was alos very happy till " Kahani tari mari ", after "Mano ya na mano" for me it was "Kaun" with Mita Vashst directed by Anurag Basu, then it was " Bandan " a daily soap with Ritu raj, then " Ittihas " a triple role where I met Sanjay Memane ( now marathi films good cinematographer )for the first time, Ekta had casted me when " Ittihas " was about to begin, I had been to Jituji Bangalow for the muhurat , I had mustaches then Ekta had asked me to remove it , and when the serial started I was not included it the cast, I also didn't care much as I was too busy on television, and the after 450 episodes I was called agains to do this triple role. my track was with the three main ladies on whom the serial was based and smita Bansal who was opposite one of my three character, then came the serial " Karam " Directed by Swapna , the character was KK, and Swapna being my favourate director I enjoyed this serial very much, then came" Kesar" which became " Kuch Khona hai Kuch Pana Hai " directed by again Anurag Basu, we shot the Pilot episode in Shalini Palace Kolhapur, Anu took 19 shifts to do the pilot episode, again this was unheard of on television history, but being Ekta Kapoor, she only could do it. then I was casted for few episodes in "Kusum" I remember only Narayani Shastri from the lot, because she had come on the burning hot set, leaving her comfortable makeup room to see my performance, and I was surprised to see an actor trying to learn from the other, then Ekta called me home as she was casting for her mega serial for Sony television " Kahani Teri Meri " and that day Maratha Battalion was releasing at the Central plaza in Girgaon, Ekta took her sweet time to meet all of us, and my mind was completely in Central Plaza, she narrated the story and the character but my mind was not there, I rushed to the theatre and fortunately or unfortunately the show had started late because of power failure. I had been once for Ekta's Birthday party at Jituji " Krishna Bangalow", and I was the most uncomfortable person there , so left early. Now I haven't met her for ages, just keep reading about her in print, my association with Ekta and Balaji will always remain special and memorable.

" Kahani Teri Mari " in which Manav , Sai, Rishi, Shamaji, Urvashi, Tina, Bunny, Manorama Aunty, Kavita. great cast and great people.

Urvashi Dolakia famous as " Komolika ", one of the very pofesssional actors I have come accross, she was already a television star when she was playing this role, so she had a author backed role, and she used to play it well, the Director Gari Binder wanted her to play it similar to Komolika, so it became very predictable, I had a good rapport with her, I used to be amazed to see her do her own makeup, she took her own sweet time to do it, and after hours inside he makeup room she used to come out transformed into that character. She liked to be into her own world, only sometimes her twin kids came on the set she would be different, very happy and jovial. and sometimes would have Sher-o-shairi from her huge stock.

This Serial gave me a opportunity to work with Late Manorama Aunty, such a loving lady, full of love and affection, we spent lot of time listening to her old time stories, her experience, she would go into flashback and tell us things about Amitabh and other actors, she was the most experienced in the " KTM"cast, recently she passed away, she was ill for a long time, she had adopted son called " Sam " who always used to be with her, he took so much care of her, he also had grown old taking care of her. Sai Balla , one of the fine actor on television, he is also a star on Kannada stage which very few people know. The massive set of " Kahani teri mari " was state of art, this who my first serial after doing so much on television which had such a massive and beautiful set, every time I shot on this set I dreamt of my film, one day my film will have such set, I use to visualise my shots and scenes, the moment one entered this set, one had a different feeling, feeling of being rich, being big. Ekta always thought big and she could also afford to think big. I played Debashish in " Kahani Teri Meri " it was a nice positive role but compared to the roles I played in other Balaji serials this role was not that appealing, like KK in "Karma", Nagesh in " Bandan ", triple role in " Itihas " and the role in " Kuch khona hai kuch panna hai " and SO many of them, which I enjoyed, this role was very much restricted, helpless kind. Sai Balla and Shama Deshpande who played my parents in " Kahani Teri Meri " I knew Sai earlier, as we had done a story for Santaram Verma's " Dehshat " that time I didn't know Sai well, but while " KTM " shoot we came very close, he is a great soul, anyone would love to have a friend like him, he is very caring and understanding person, and an happy go lucky person, a tough guy with a soft heart, he and Shamaji are made for each other couple.

" Gahire Paani " by Ratnakar Matkari

I was introduced to Ratnakar Matkari saheb by Supriya Vinod ( his Daughter) we were doing a story of CID, directed by B.P.Singh on Sony TV, there on the set, she mentioned to me that her father is Directing a film for NFDC and is casting for the same, she forwarded my pictures to him, and from the day I met him till date I am his fan, I find his scripts perfect, I have not come across any writer who can match him, his stories, screen play, dialogues, and his climax of the story are just brilliance, extraordinary, so well thought and convincing, that any actor would find it easy to work with him, I have done lot of stories with him on television, mostly " Gahire Paani " stories such as " अंधार वाडा ", " बंध ", " ऋंको " " काळी बहुली ", " चिठठी ", and

" रात " ( Raat ) in Hindi, This brilliant story was earlier done for Zee Tv after the success for Gahire Paani, Zee wanted Matkari saheb to do a serial in Hindi on his short stories, and " Raat " was the first story, unfortunate for Zee, they missed out on a great serial, as they delayed the project for reasons only they know, but fortunately Manju Singh loved this story and bought it for Doordarshan in her serial " Ek Kahani " and people loved it, this story is written in such a way that it shocks you as moves forward, very gripping and keeps the audience on the edge of their seats. This is one of my favourite stories on television " बंध " ( Bandh ) , what a brilliant script, not worth for television , its for a film only, waste on television, this story was very well shot by Matkari saheb, I loved the thought and the way this story unfolds, and its climax, I have never come across anyone who has come close to Matkari saheb when it comes to the climax of any story, and this story also has an extra ordinary climax, I wish I have all these stories on my record. This is a working still from the story " काळी बहुली " ( kaali Bahuli ) , and this was Directed by Ganesh Matkari, while directing this television story he showed his brilliance as a director, I thoroughly enjoyed acting under his direction, some extraordinary shots were taken by him, only regrate is that this should have been a film and not a serial, Ganesh can become a very good international standard director once he directs feature films. ( काळी बहुली with Suchitra Bandekar )

I was introduced to Matkari saheb in connection to films and that has not happened till date, working under his direction and performing the character written by him is always a dreams which will happen very soon, and I also look forward to work with Ganesh ....

Sudhir Joshi, Very in jolly person, I had a very very good relationship with him, he loved to tease me, and enjoyed every bit of it, whenever we met he would shout and call me " Gooholi ", and whenever we both got time then it would be very serious talks, lovey man, very very intelligent, happy go lucky, we both did " Devki " and " Mast Kalandar " together, " Mast Kalandar "remain incomplete, which the makers wants to complete it after so long and I will be shooting for the film tomorrow. And it will be very difficult for me on the set, as he would not be around and the echo of "Gooholi " only I would be hearing, sudhirji had a heart attack in Bangkok, and had to go through bypass there itself, and after his return from there he passed away in mumbai.I wish he was around.

Monisha & her mum, had a car accident near Bangalore while coming for a film shooting, in which her mum was seriously injured and Monisha dead.

Monisha Unni, my malayalam film " ARYAN " heroine, from Bangalore, this was the film Directed by Priyadarshan, She had won the National award for acting for the film " Nagachidangan " her first malayalam film, so for me it was an honour to work opposite her, in the beginning I was little tensed but when I met her for the first time with her mum, i found her to be very simple, humble and full of life, very innocent. Whenever I meet any Malayali person I say " നിങളുടെ പെരിയണ്ട ? " Nigalude pariyanda ? means what is your name ? and I remember Monisha, as she used to teach me Malayalam and I taught her Marathi, and both could never learn each others language, but we kept on trying to learn while shooting, she was a great human being, her hair was always talked about , it was her toe length, very long hair she had, after the shoot and when the film was released in Kerala, she had written to me that she had gone to the theatre to see the film and couldn't get the tickets , and how excited she was to see our huge banners all around. I still have her birthday card, life is too short, she past away in an car accident while coming from shoot near Bangalore. God also wants good souls with him...

Ajay Bane, the ever smiling face, who is no more now, passed away, had an heart attack, since my Maratha Battalion days he is been encouraging me, he had loved my work, and since then he was always close to me, he did the publicity of many of my films, his advertising firms called Ahswini Publicity was involved in many for my films press, tv ads, premieres, press conferences and he was always personally present whereever it may be, be it poona, satara, mumbai, he was there and saw to it that I was given due respect, as most of the reports & journalist always wanted to interview stars, he many a time forces them to interview me, I felt uncomfortable at time and mostly avoided these press, but he was a gem, always smiling , full of life, I miss him, was a good soul.

This show was for Zee TV, a for me it was the first time as an Anchor, and I had a tough time, and was not at all good at it, and My co-actor was Ashwini Kalsekar, with whom I had done to two serials which never came on air, she is still a good friend and Ashwini was master in Anchoring, and made me very comfortable, we had great moments while shooting, Yesterday I met Pravin Karale, after ages, he is directing a Marathi film and offered me a nice role in it, unfortunately I had done a similar kind of role in Mahesh Manjarekar's "Aai ", and I don't enjoy these kind of roles, today I wouldn't do Mahesh's Aai, that time also I had expressed my displeasure, but it was the beginning of Marathi film career, so may be I must have said yes, Pravin being a friend with whom I had enjoyed Dak Ghar Apna Ghar, which he used to Direct, we became close friends since then, so this time also I found it difficult to say no to him for that role, when I was looking forward to do a film with him, he is a very good director, hope we work together in future.

Just met Shankar Mahadevan after ages

Today we had a meeting with Shankar Mahadev, Writer,Director Rajan Prabhu had come all the way from Poona, with his beautiful song written by himself " त्या पहाटेची मी वाट पाहे " which Shankar liked it very much and has agreed to sing , me and Shakar were meet after ages, first time we met through Swapna Waghmare, who was Directing a serial called " Khusboo " and Shankar had sang the title song, that time also he was star as his album " Breathless " was a major hit. And that time when we met he which I thought was the first time, but he reminded me that we had met before with Shivaji park group of friends, that time also he was nice and polite and after many many years as he had become a bigger star singer music Director, he has become more humble, he treated Rajan who had come with Santosh & Kiran with respect, I was little worried that he might not recognise me or being a Marathi film he might give a reason to say no, but he fixed next weeks recording date, today was little tied up still gave time because I could see Karan Johar waiting in the recording studio restlessly, for Sharkar to come back and continue with his film work.

So the person responsible for today's meeting is of course, my Director Friend, queen of India Soaps/ TV serial - Swapna Waghmare..

This is the working still of the serial " Khusboo " at Kolhapur for which Shankar and Kavita Krishnamurthy sang the title song,

I was introduced to Swapna by my friend Ninad kamad , who was " Ahankar " produced and Directed by her, she immediately casted me in
"Ahankar", and I was offered a cute role from the 20Th episode, shot with Vikram Gokhale, as it was the beginning of my television career, it was after Campus success, working with Vikramji was a great thing, unfortunately the serial was off air after 25th episode, as Swapna backed out for wrong Doordarshan Policy change, but then she cast me in Balaji Telefilms initial serial "mano ya na mano", and offered me a very challenging role against late Mahavir Shah, Shooting was in Gujarat near Varsoda, there a night she gave me some dialogues which were to be shot in the morning, after seeing those dialogues I couldn't sleep the whole निघत, I woke her up in the middle of the night and asked her the meaning of it and she got very upset and told me to go to sleep and we will see it in the morning, how could I sleep with three pages of something which I couldn't understand a single word of it, so by hearted the whole thing, some of these lines which I still remember " मोक्ष प्राप्ति की याद सदा उस आत्मा को तद्पएगी , भग्न हृदय की तीव्र कराये क्शोनित भोग ही चाहेगी , सूर्योदय की कतिमे एक फेरेसे विश्रांति होगी , चरण डगमगे कपेतो सुर्यस्थ की गली होगी , पूरब पश्चिम उतर दक्षिण कोई दिशाना दिल की होगी , आशा से देखो तो शायद वाही दिशा दिल की होगी, पाँच फेरों की मुक्ति मांगे क्शोंनित पाँच भ्र्राता ओ का , जनक हो जिसका एक संभाले भार कर्तव्यों का ।" It was a nightmare.

But the way Swapna shot the entire story, she became the best Actor's Director, A director who understands an Actor, make him comfortable, and get the best out of him, and that performance of mine become one of my memorable one, it also gave Balaji an extension of the serial, just because of Swapna I could do so many Balaji Telefilms serials, in all 12 serials more than 600 episode ( Mano ya na mano, Captain, kaun, Karam, Kusum, Kuch Khona na hai Kuch pana hai, Itihas, Bandhan, Kesar, Karwa Chuath, Kahani Teri Meri. ) just because of her.

She directed me in Karam, Aksar, Ahankar, Captain, and she directed my serial " Khushboo " but more than work , and friends, we have become family, she has wonderful parents, who love me and my wife very much, they also watch my Marathi films and encourage me.

Mahesh Tilekar " मुर्ति लहान पण कीर्ति महान " Nothing is impossible for this man. This picture is click at the Dada Kondke studio, pune. from your right : Kuldeep Pawar, Asha Kale, Varsha Usgaonkar, myself & the great Mahesh Tilekar. This song was done for the awareness of Bird Flu. For Venkateshwara Hatcheries, Dance Director Deepali Vichare. This was the first time I worked with Varsha, the star of Marathi films and Asha Kale the yesteryear's star. In this song we also had the legend, the king Nilubhau ( Nilu Phule ). and the funniest part was I am a vegetarian, and the ad was to promote chicken.

Working with Varsha was a great experience , she has the star quality in her and along with that she is very down to earth. Also While shooting had memorable time with Nilu bhau, he shared his shooting experiences those memories are still fresh in my mind.

The All Time Great Marathi Show Ever Happened Till Date Was " TARE TARAKA " and not to mention the organiser, of course its Mahesh Tilekar. This show was in pune, and performed by almost very star for the Marathi film industry, you name it and he was there, a galaxy of marathi actors.

I performed on the song from V.K. Naik's film " Gupchup Gupchup " lyrics " Pahile na me tula " with the most talented Samira Gujar.

Coming back to Mahesh Tilekar, first time I met him in my house, he had come all the way from Poona, with a serial proposal, which didn't workout, then we met on the set of Maratha Battalion, as he had come to learn about film making as he had done serials but not film. he left half way through, after that I kept on hearing about him from various people like how nice he is, he is good at this, good at that, only person in the film industry to pay before you start working and one day Vijay Chavan (one of the great actor in comedy) scolded me when he came to know that I refused Mahesh's serial, he had so much respect for Mahesh and I was very curious about him, what kind of a man he is ? whoever works with him says amazing things about him. And I had made up my mind to work with him , and Mahesh called me for this song with Varsha, I wouldn't have asked for more, in spilt second I said yes. There I got to know him more.

I never stop being surprised by him, as in a Marathi film "Aadhar"which he director had superstar Akshay Kumar and even Jaya Pradha, then he produces and directs a Hindi film with Raghuveer Yadav, his scripts are approved by Rekha, Manisha Koirala, Ravina Tandon and many more, he takes his Taraka troupe ( that is 21 Marathi female stars including yesteryear's) together and performs in front of The President of India Mrs Pratibha Patil, and performs in the International film festival at Goa.publishes a beautiful book on all time Marathi tarakas, gets Madhuri Dikshit Nene, the list goes on and on, recently heard he met Rajnikant and agreed to work with him Hritik Roshan also, and will be meeting Jackie Chan or must have already met him, will have to confirm.

But by and by a nice human being and one of the most meet guy, very clear with his concepts and thoughts, and if you want to get Julia Robert, Britney Spears, or Catharine Zeta Jones to perform here or organise a show on the moon, now you know who else but the one and only " Mahesh Tilekar "

Bhagwan Das "The Director"

Me and Bhagwan are great friends , have done ad film for Bisleri, the visiting card he designed for me was a unique one, we are great friends and are looking forward to do a film together, every time we meet we talk about doing a film , And I am sure he would make a great film.

Modelling as a hobby

Modelling was always something as a bonus, never thought of full time profession, mostly did suiting's, and again the credit goes to a Photographer friend Mukesh Mistry, for 5 years I modelled for all his catalogues like G'mens, Aakar, Vastram etc, he would always call me, same print shoot for jeans, also did some TV commercials. Stopped doing when things changed, casting were done through auditions, I was the most uncomfortable in auditions, I never liked the process and so drifted away.

The director I enjoyed doing Ads was Bhagwan Das , a very creative artist, a painter, graphic designer.

Shooting In the Village of Satara for " HTKM "

" Halad Tuzi Kunku Maze" Director Sandeep Navre, Second film with him, first film " Bhavachi laxmi" by him I was nominated for Best Supporting Actor's award for Zee Marathi channel, and the funniest part was I play the main lead in the film and they nominate me for supporting role.

Sandeep has a very good sense of rural audience, when I went to Phaltan and Satara for the release of " Bhavachi Laxmi" I was over whelmed by the audience response. This film has a very touching story, and I play a character called " Ram " ,who would surely get sympathy from the audience, enjoyed thoroughly, 10 to 15 % of the shoot is still remaining, which they are planning to do in the last week of this month at filmcity, Mumbai.

" Campus " Successful serial on Zee

Campus will always remain very close to my heart, 4 years of television success, and all the work on television which I did that is more than 3000 episodes is all because of Campus, the character " Ravi Bhatnager " is still remembered by many, miss so many people who are no more now including Sanjeevji , his wife Geeta who was always full of life, who was a very strong women and always eager to throw a party for smallest reason and treat all of us, we had become a huge Campus family. And now after so many years very few are in touch, just bump in at functions and parties like last week met Resham at Deepali's success party and started remembering the 25th episode party at Juhu hotel where she had dance till she fell, and I realised how years pass by and just memories remain.
